SERVICES
Prenatal Consultations
Self-Pay Fee : $100
A prenatal consult helps you feel confident and prepared before baby arrives, ideally between 29–35 weeks. It’s especially useful if you’ve had breast/chest surgery, struggled with feeding before, have anatomical concerns (like inverted nipples), are expecting a preterm baby, or just feel nervous about getting started.
We’ll meet in your home or virtually, to talk through your questions, review your medical and feeding history, and do a quick breast/chest check if needed. You’ll leave with a clear plan, local resources, and support to start feeding off strong. I’ll also send your care plan and updates to your provider if needed.
Postpartum Consultations
Self-Pay Initial Consult Fee : $200
This in-home lactation consultation lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours and includes a full history of you and your baby, observation of a feeding session, a weight check to measure milk intake, hands-on help with latch and positioning, time to address your questions, and a personalized breastfeeding plan. After the visit, a summary is sent to your primary healthcare provider, and you'll receive one week of follow-up support by phone and email. If additional help is needed, a follow-up visit can be scheduled.
Self-Pay Follow-Up Consult Fee : $150
Some feeding challenges take time and a few visits to fully sort out. Follow-up sessions are usually 60–90 minutes, depending on what you need.
We’ll check in on your progress, adjust your care plan, and reach out to your healthcare team if needed.
Already a client and something new has come up? Book a follow-up and we’ll work through it together.
Virtual Consultations
Self-Pay Fee : $100
Virtual consults are a convenient option for returning clients with quick questions. We’ll meet on a HIPAA-compliant platform to chat about things like pumping, starting solids, schedule changes, or medications.
For concerns like pain, latch issues, supply, or weight gain, an in-person visit is best.
Please use the link below to check insurance coverage with but not limited to: Anthem, Aetna, BCBS, and United Healthcare.
For most insurance plans, I work with The Lactation Network (TLN) for billing. They commonly cover United Healthcare, Aetna, BCBS PPO, Multiplan, and Anthem PPO plans but they’re always adding more, so it’s worth applying even if you’re not sure. Just fill out TLN’s form through the link above and be sure to list Carolina Lactation Solutions as your referring lactation consultant. If you already have an appointment coming up, mark it as Emergent or Urgent and you should hear back within a few hours. If it’s not time-sensitive, choose Non-Urgent or Planning Ahead and you’ll usually get a response in 3–4 days.
If you have CIGNA : Please use the link below to verify coverage:
I am in-network with Cigna through Wildflower Health. Just fill out the form to check your coverage, most Cigna plans cover consults in full.
If your insurance coverage is not verified through TLN or Wildflower, then you would be SELF-PAY. I accept credit/HSA card and cash/check payments. I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Each plan is different, and coverage isn’t guaranteed.
Please note that travel fees may apply for some areas. You will be contacted within 24 hours of booking if a travel fee applies to you. No travel fee for all areas within a 30 mile radius of Kings Mountain, NC.

I’m here to cheer you on, answer your questions, and help you feel more confident every step of the way.
